Bulk data insertion and updating from one db server to another db server

database-migration mongodb nosql postgresql sqlbulkcopy

Question

In a postgres server, I have a set of tables with 20 million records. As of right now, I'm utilizing insert and update queries with dependant tables in functions to move certain table data from one server to another server. Even with query optimization, it takes around two hours. I need to find a way to use cassandra or mongodb to move the data more quickly. How?

Attempt saving your modifications and inserts to a file, loading the file afterwards. I know that Postgresql will load the file contents as efficiently as possible. Despite the fact that I haven't used that much, it has always worked for me.
