I came across this great answer explaining how to use SqlBulkCopy to insert a DataTable into a database.
A DataTable must be added to an AS400 table (IBM Version 7.1.0).
Using OdbcConnection, I'm looking for a similar answer.
FWiW: The Copy From Import File (CPYFRMIMPF) capability, offered by the DB2 for I as a component of the IBM I OS, imports data that has already been exported; this is obviously not what was stated in the OP, but it may still be useful information.
Exist any.Net packages that allow you to export data from a SQL database to plain text files (such a csv or tsv)? Only the import portion of the solution is covered by SqlBulkCopy, and I would like not call any Processes. Start calls to launch command prompts so that bcp.exe may be called.
A large XML file with hundreds of records is what I'm downloading. I want to use ASP.Net (VB) to convert the XML file into an MS-Access 2007 database so that I can do more queries on it. It's important to note that conversions should be carried out in bulk since the files are large and time-consuming to input one record at a time. I'm sick of searc...

Dim cmd As SqlClient.SqlCommand
conString = "path"

The program runs as intended, but it pulls 26624 rows from the access table, and when it does a WriteToServer on Bulk copy, it only copies 24880 entries; as...
